The Magpul Subgun Quick Draw Aid is a tool for better handling of the magazine, especially with gloved or damp fingers. The use is simple; the draw aid is simply pulled over the bottom end of the magazine and then provides the shooter with an easy way to grasp and pull their magazines from the magazine pouch even with wet hands, in the dark, or while wearing gloves. Additionally, the rubber provides protection for the magazine if it falls to the ground.

Note:

The installed Quick Draw Aid from Magpul ultimately serves as a magazine extension when the magazine is inserted into the weapon. The illustration with our HK SP5 SPORT clearly shows that the magazine (including extension) does NOT extend beyond the pistol grip, thus it does not pose a legal hurdle for sport shooters. For hunting license holders, it would have been irrelevant anyway.
