The Magpul MS1 "Padded" Sling is the current padded version of the MS1 rifle sling with new strap adjusters. The sling comes completely without mounting interfaces and is therefore suitable for any application - all attachments with a 1 1/4" (approx. 3.2cm) opening can be used, or the strap can be directly threaded into a corresponding sling attachment, e.g., on a stock or end plate. The MS1 strap adjuster allows for quick length adjustment of the sling with a secure hold, without slipping once the length is set. Due to the design of the sling, there are no loose ends or loops that can get caught.

The sling itself can be adjusted to a length of approximately 121cm to approximately 152cm, and the MS1 strap adjuster additionally allows for a quick adjustment of +/- approximately 13cm, for a total quick adjustment range of approximately 26cm.

The padding is sewn into the tubular webbing for maximum carrying comfort and durability. At the padded areas, the sling is approximately 4.7cm wide. The padding is made of high-quality closed-cell foam and is also tear-resistant coated. Due to the padding and the wider support area, the sling is well-suited for heavier weapons, e.g., fully equipped AR10 models.

The sling itself has undergone extreme stress tests - it has been subjected to tens of thousands of simulated weather changes, tested loaded for over 71 hours on adjustment slides, and weighted drop tests from a height of 1.8m have been conducted. And of course, the sling has been practically tested to the fullest.

The webbing, approximately 32mm wide, is made of nylon and does not rub to protect the user from abrasion. The colored webbing is NIR-treated to reduce the IR signature. The strap adjusters are made of high-strength polymer.
