The XPS 3-2 from EOTECH (the little brother of the slightly more expensive model EXPS 2-2) is also among the best holographic sights currently available in terms of quality. In terms of workmanship, quality, and performance, this high-end reflex sight is truly worth its price. The nearly indestructible housing is additionally protected by a protective hood made of hard-anodized, matte black aluminum. The battery compartment is accessible from the side, and the controls are located on the back, facing the shooter. The compact design of the system also takes up very little space on your Picatinny rail, ~67 mm is more than sufficient here.

But it's not just the workmanship that is top-notch at EOTECH - the holographic reticle, consisting of hundreds of small dots, ensures high sharpness and low glare. The 2-dot reticle is specifically calibrated with hold points for the caliber .223. In addition to the 1 MOA center dot, there is another 1 MOA point below as a hold point for ~460m. The 68 MOA large circle primarily serves for quick target acquisition during hunting or dynamic disciplines (30 cm at 50m). This ballistic reticle was developed for 5.56 NATO/.223 cal with 62 g M855 FMJ at approximately 2,680 fps with a 14.5-inch barrel. When using different ammunition or barrel lengths, the reticle points may vary slightly.

Differences from the EXPS model: Brightness control at the back of the device (on EXPS, it's on the side, making it easier to operate in position), On EXPS: Quick mounting system - XPS with Torx screw for fixation. The height of the optical axis is approximately 38mm for the 55x and XPS models, and about 45mm for the EXPS models.
