The Vortex Viper Shotgun Red Dot Mossy Oaks is a red dot sight specifically designed for use on shotguns. The special coating in the Bottomland pattern has been visually adapted to the colors of foliage & swamp – ideal for well-camouflaged game bird hunting – and also looks stylish. This shotgun red dot features a 3 MOA dot. Ideal for quick target acquisition on flying game, it does not obscure too much in close range.

The special integrated mount can be placed directly on the stock without any additional adapter and thus aligns more naturally with the barrel line, oriented to the German shot – for a perfect stance and precise target acquisition. The footprint of the optic is compatible with a variety of shotguns, provided they have threaded holes on the housing (list of compatible shotguns below). The closed housing allows for use in all weather conditions and prevents dirt and water from collecting between the emitter and the lens – perfect for any bad weather – which we often encounter during small game hunting. But it also performs well in sporting use on clay pigeons, speed, or falling targets, as the high-strength aluminum housing easily withstands the harsh recoil forces of shotgun ammunition.

Additionally, the Viper has a battery life of approximately 50,000 hours (depending on brightness), an auto-shutoff function, and a total of 12 brightness levels – including 2 for night vision. Thanks to the closed housing made of 6061 aluminum, it is shockproof, waterproof, and fog-free.
