MOSSBERG 590-S Optic-Ready 18.5"

The Mossberg 590S is a variant of the 590 platform that has been revised to also fire the shortest shotgun shells with only 45mm case length (1.75") - but of course, the operation of standard case lengths of 70 & 76mm is also possible without any issues - all case lengths in that range can be loaded and fired without modifications, and it is even possible to load the magazine with multiple case lengths simultaneously. Like all 590 models, it features dual extractors, dual guide rails, and the current "anti-jam" loading spoon for smooth and reliable operation. Standard on the 590 model is the safety located on the stock neck, which can be operated by both right- and left-handed users. Additionally, all Mossberg 590 models lock "steel on steel," and the receiver is prepared for the mounting of an optic mount or Picatinny rail. The "Optic Ready" variant features an integrated Shield RMSc footprint in the receiver, allowing for direct mounting of compatible sights.
