The MDT Metal AICS Magazine offers a slightly more compact alternative to classic AICS metal magazines. Due to the staggered arrangement of the cartridges in the magazine, with single-row feeding, the MDT magazines are somewhat shorter than completely single-row magazines - about 1.9cm shorter for 10-round magazines. This version comes with a length limiter and is designed for a cartridge length of 7.29cm (2.870"), which is sufficient for cartridges according to CIP (OAL: 2.850" / 7.11cm). Therefore, no modifications to the feed ramp of the weapon are necessary, as is sometimes required for magazines for extra-long match cartridges (non-CIP compliant).

For use with HOWA M1500 systems, minor adjustments may be necessary.

Depending on stock availability, the magazines can also be shipped as OEM for firearm manufacturers, e.g., Savage. These are the same original magazines, just possibly in different packaging or with additional labeling!
