The Streamlight TLR-8A is a modern, compact LED weapon light with target laser for mounting on specific weapon rails or Picatinny rails. Equipped with interchangeable paddle switches, it is designed for use on handguns but can also be mounted on long guns. Powered by one CR123A battery, the TLR-8A is small and can be installed on compact and subcompact pistols. The light has 500 lumens with 5,000 candela at a range of 140m. Various lighting modes, interchangeable & ambidextrous paddles offer the user a choice, and momentary and constant-on modes are available, as well as a strobe mode.

Compatible with a variety of weapon models, the TLR-8A provides a solid and reliable solution for professional use. The integrated red target laser with ~650nm is adjustable, providing the shooter with a secure aiming aid. White light and laser can be used together or independently.

The light is installed via an integrated tilt mount with included adapter pieces, allowing the following weapon models to be equipped with the TLR-8A:
