The Hornady Rapid Rack is a safety flag that serves as a chambering aid - the name says it all: with the inserted Rapid Rack, absolute safety can be guaranteed, as the chamber and magazine feed are blocked, and the clearly visible "flag" indicates this unequivocally - but at the same time, the flag is a loading aid, and by simply and quickly pulling it back, the weapon is chambered and the Rapid Rack is ejected. Due to its suitable contour, this loading aid sits securely in the chamber but also in the extractor and is manipulated by the ejector.

Please note:
Even with the inserted Ready Rack, a weapon with an inserted, loaded magazine is not considered "safe" on the shooting range, during transport, or when stored in a safe.
