The Holosun 509T adapter plate allows for the mounting of the compact red dot sight on various weapon platforms.

Made from aluminum, the adapters create a secure connection between the weapon and the optics. The adapter plates fit the specific footprint of the Holosun 509T; the Meprolight MPO Pro also uses this standard.

Holosun was founded in 2013 in California but is a subsidiary of a Chinese conglomerate. Since the parent company specializes in electro-optical components, the manufacturer offers high-quality optics at a good price/performance ratio. A "trademark" of the company is the solar cell, which is present on almost all optics and allows the use of the sight even with a dead battery. The manufacturer was also one of the first to implement motion-activated activation in affordable optics. After modest beginnings, the company has established itself firmly in the civilian market within a few years and offers an extremely extensive range of red dot sights. Thermal optics, including special models for handguns, are now also part of the portfolio, and the first authorities and militaries are relying on optics from Holosun.
