The TRS-25 High-Rise from Bushnell is a very affordable closed red dot sight with a 3 MOA dot and a riser mount for a higher attachment. Especially when mounted on an AR-15, one is relatively high in the sight line with a fixed or collapsible stock, so an elevated mounting of the optic is often sensible. This affordable set includes the riser mount and can be directly attached to the Picatinny rail.

Despite the very low price, the TRS-25 offers very good quality features such as the one-piece machined aluminum body for high shock resistance, the multi-coated lenses for low reflections and high contrast, as well as the O-ring sealing and nitrogen filling for fog-proof and waterproof performance. Weighing just over 100 g, the TRS-25 is a true lightweight and thus also a real recommendation for driven hunting with agile hunting shotguns. The 3 MOA dot offers a 1 MOA click adjustment and is ideal for quick aiming without eye relief. The dot is not quite as clean in representation as a glass-etched red dot and slightly blooms at high intensity, but for quick target acquisition, this plays a rather subordinate role. Conclusion: The TRS-25 from Bushnell is very solidly constructed and offers really good performance for little money.
