The BLR LIGHTWEIGHT from Browning is a leading lever-action rifle. As is usually the case with lever-actions, cartridges must either be flat-nosed or contain polymer tips to prevent ignition in the tubular magazine. However, this is different with the lightweight BLR LIGHTWEIGHT from Browning. Thanks to the detachable magazine, cartridges with pointed bullets can be loaded here. As with other detachable magazines, the cartridges are stacked on top of each other.
