The Ballistol Quick Bluing is a reliable classic for bluing small parts and covering scratches, defects, or repair marks. The quick bluing only requires degreasing of the surface to be treated, with preparation using fine 00 steel wool being recommended, and then the bluing can be applied as a brush bluing or as a dip bluing. After about 3 minutes, a noticeable film forms, and the surface is rinsed with water, patted dry, and oiled. The deep black blued surface is ready.

The quick bluing uses a new formula, allowing for spot-free bluing of larger areas. All steels with up to 3% chromium content and iron can be blued.

Application: Carefully degrease the surface to be blued (e.g., with Ballistol Cold Degreaser or gun part cleaner). Brush the quick bluing onto the surface to be blued. Allow to act for at least 3 minutes until a yellowish-white coating forms. Now rinse thoroughly with water, gently pat dry with a soft cloth or paper towel, and spray with Ballistol Universal Oil or GUNEX.

Consumption: You will need approximately 100 ml of Ballistol Quick Bluing for one square meter of surface to be blued.

Please note:
It is absolutely necessary that treated parts are thoroughly rinsed with water, dried, and oiled - otherwise, rust may develop as the quick bluing continues to "work."
