The scopes of the Element Optics Helix series form the foundation of the lineup. Reticles and adjustment turrets depend on the version and intended use, but one thing the entire 30mm product line shares with its 34mm sister scopes from the Titan series is: high-quality HD lenses with modern coatings, well-thought-out reticles, and an adjustment mechanism that features characteristics typically found in significantly more expensive scopes.

The Helix HD 2-16x50 SFP is the hunting scope of the family, when in doubt. With its RAPTR-1 reticle, covered flat adjustment turrets, and parallax adjustment from 10m to infinity, it is suitable as an all-rounder for stalking, sitting, or even night hunting – weighing only 728g and with transparent flip caps, the compact scope hardly adds weight and is quickly ready for use in wind and weather.

The special feature is the reticle - the RAPTR-1 ("Rapid Trajectory") can of course be zeroed as a normal crosshair, but for the hunter who also hunts at greater distances, the reticle has 4 holdover marks. As a reference at 8x magnification, a hunting .308 Winchester with 168gr is used, zeroed at 100m, the holdover marks correspond to 200, 300 & 400m, and the width of the bars indicates a lateral bullet deviation at the given distance with a crosswind of about 8km/h. If other calibers or loadings are used, the weapon can be zeroed with a correspondingly chosen reference magnification – the scope comes with "cheat sheets" that note the references and can be attached to the flip cap of the eyepiece.
