The Bundeswehr Feldbett is a new production according to the original Technical Delivery Conditions (TL) of the Bundeswehr and offers durability and stability for camping, airsoft, hunting, etc.

Due to its simple yet solid construction, it consists of few parts, the frame and sleeping surface are permanently connected, and it can be set up with just a few hand movements. It is simply unfolded, and the cross braces are inserted and tensioned into the holders. There isn't much to say about this classic design: stable, comfortable, and suitable for long deployments. At almost 8kg, it is not lightweight for backpackers, but it is also not a one-night bed.

Due to the distance from the ground, rising cold and moisture have no chance, but in cold temperatures, a thin sleeping pad is recommended to increase comfort, of course in conjunction with a suitable sleeping bag. The folded field bed can be secured with 2 straps and stored in the supplied carrying bag.

Please note:
The first setup may be quite tight and require some force. This is not a defect; this strong self-tensioning is necessary for the function and durability of such beds.
