The Edgar Sherman Design Padded Sling is a variant of the tried-and-true ESD Rifle Sling. The main difference lies in the namesake padding, which is not just placed under the webbing like many other products, causing the load to not distribute properly - here the padding is an integral part of the strap, and the weight and tension are distributed over the entire area. The padded area is generously sized at approximately 42x5cm and is lined with about 6mm EVA foam.

The remaining features are the same as those of the standard ESD Rifle Sling:

ESD Pull Tab for quick and easy length adjustment for various carrying styles and shooting positions
Elastic loop for securing excess webbing, e.g., for transport and storage
General length adjustment of the strap at both ends possible for optimal handling
Simple strap ends with sewn webbing and strap sliders allow the use of any commercially available hardware

A well-thought-out and robust sling that, with its large adjustment range, smaller than the standard model but still generous, is suitable for a variety of weapon platforms but naturally shines with long and heavy rifles.

Edgar Sherman Design arose from the desire of its namesake founder to pursue a military career to serve his country. After having to bury this dream due to chronic health reasons, he now dedicates himself to the design and manufacture of components specifically for the military, created in close collaboration and feedback.
