PST short for "Precision Shooting Tactical" stands for absolute precision and solid workmanship for short distances in the Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24 VMR-2 MRAD riflescope. The 2nd generation of the PST series from Vortex offers various features of the much more expensive Razor-HD series, such as high-quality argon gas filling or the precision spring system. The 10-step illuminated reticle adjustment allows optimal intensity control for any lighting situation. The VMR-2 MRAD reticle features subtension lines, floating wind hold points, and enables optimal distance, holdover, and windage correction in MRAD. Since the reticle is located on the 2nd focal plane (SFP), it does not magnify.

For easy handling, the tactical click adjustment turrets are adjustable in 0.2 MRAD increments. The optics are equipped with high-quality multi-coated lenses for extremely high light transmission, sharpness, and contrast. The Vortex is also robustly constructed and offers a lot of scope for the money. Those who do not need the features of the most expensive Vortex series and are looking for a solid short-distance riflescope will be well served.
