The new Vortex Crossfire HD 3-9x40 is the perfect all-round scope for hunting at shorter to medium distances. The HD optical system from Vortex with fully multi-coated lenses is clear, high-contrast, and bright for perfect visibility. With 3-9x magnification, it is ideally suited for the short to medium distance range of about 50 to 150 m, which is optimal for stalking, driven hunts, or sitting. With a 40 mm objective diameter, it performs well across the entire daylight spectrum, although a larger diameter makes more sense in twilight conditions (but is also heavier).

Otherwise, the scope offers truly perfect visibility; the dimmable illuminated dot of the Dead-Hold® 2A BDC reticle allows for intuitive and quick target acquisition even in suboptimal contrast and busy backgrounds (which is often the case when hunting). The hold points are perfectly designed for hunting - allowing for quick and safe identification of game at varying distances and ensuring a good shot placement. The lightweight design of the optics ensures maximum maneuverability of the weapon.

The lightweight is a perfect all-rounder and thus equally suitable for hunting both big game and predators.
