The Magpul Tactile Lock-Plate is a tool used in conjunction with PMAG Gen3 for AR15. The difference from the standard lock plate, which is installed in every magazine, is the small raised areas. Depending on the type, there is one (Type 1) or two (Type 2) raised areas. These serve for easy identification of the magazine in the dark or without looking. Excellent for those who operate the same magazine types with different loadings. Therefore, the Tactile Lock-Plate is not for everyone but a special tool for the shooter who knows how to use it.

Not suitable for use with magazine couplers or extensions that replace the standard base plate.
