The Meprolight Mepro Evergreen LED Sight is a special rear sight-front sight system for handguns. Due to legal regulations in Germany and Europe, the distribution of standard tritium sights is restricted; local self-illuminating sights are "trimmed" to comply with strict legal requirements. Meprolight offers an alternative with the Evergreen, as this sight operates without radioactive substances.

The front sight features a built-in LED with a power source, providing a contrast that is available to the shooter under all lighting conditions and ensuring a clearly recognizable sight picture. In conjunction with the non-illuminated U-notch rear sight, quick target acquisition is possible. Unlike an optical sight, there is no lens that can get dirty or fogged up, making this sight excellent for tracking in cover. The fully steel-made sight meets several governmental and military requirements and can be treated like a normal fixed sight despite the electrical illumination. The lifespan of the integrated battery is 5 years.
