The Magpul PMAG 30G MagLevel - HK G36 is an alternative magazine for the G36 and HK243, which technically corresponds to the current PMAG Gen M3 for the AR15. Generation 3 was introduced in 2012 and replaces the EMAG, which was specifically manufactured for "non-American" weapons such as the L85A2 and HK 416 (MR223). This variant for the G36 uses the same base plate and is therefore compatible with all magazine couplers, Ranger Plates, etc. for the PMAG Gen M3.

There isn't much to say about these magazines: They are extremely robust, extremely reliable, and extremely durable. Made from high-strength polymer, the magazines withstand stresses that would destroy classic steel and aluminum magazines. They do not bend, there are no dents or corrosion. Particularly noteworthy: The magazine lips cannot bend, making many feed malfunctions simply impossible with these magazines. The modern springs made of rust-resistant chrome-silicon spring steel are durable and withstand longer periods in a loaded state and thousands of loading cycles - but it should be noted that the manufacturer does not recommend storing the magazines loaded. The viewing window allows for a quick check of the loading status. The transparent plastic of the window is non-reflective. Color-coded coils on the spring indicate when there are only a few rounds left in the magazine. Made from self-lubricating material, the follower is designed for absolute reliability - if there are feeding malfunctions, one can assume that it is not the magazine's fault. The special shape of the "follower" prevents cartridges from tilting, and together with the constant curve of the magazine, a consistent feed is ensured - whether in semi-automatic or fully automatic operation or whether there are 3 or 30 rounds in the magazine.

The magazine base is slightly raised compared to the magazine body to provide a secure grip for the pulling hand - but at the same time, it is slim enough for the magazine to fit easily into 2 or 3 magazine pouches. Three of these magazines fit into the double magazine pouches for the G36! Disassembling the magazine can be done without tools; a ballpoint pen or a cartridge is completely sufficient - long fingernails can also be used, although this is not recommended.
