The new Bushnell AR Optics TRS-26 Red Dot is the successor to the legendary best-seller TRS-25 and naturally offers a few sensible improvements, which are reflected in the slightly higher price - although this is still quite moderate compared to the quality. Since we have ordered large quantities here, we can also offer a top discount on the MSRP.

AR optics says it all - this closed red dot sight is made for the AR15 as a short-range optic, allowing you to aim with both eyes open. The 3 MOA dot is sharper than its predecessor thanks to new technology and can now be operated via side-mounted buttons (instead of a large adjustment wheel). The objective lens is also larger, providing a wider field of view. The mount is designed to be higher from the factory, making it ideal for the high sight line of AR weapons, and can be quickly and easily attached to a Picatinny rail.

The affordable TRS-26 features a solid aluminum body machined from a single piece, ensuring high shock resistance. In addition to IPX-7 waterproofing, the red dot sight is fog-proof, and the multi-coated lenses are low-reflection and provide high contrast - ideal for dynamic disciplines or driven hunts with moving targets.

As mentioned, the dot is significantly better than its predecessor, yet not quite as clean in representation as a glass-etched dot of an expensive riflescope, and it does bloom slightly at high intensity, but for quick target acquisition, this is rather a minor issue, and to be honest, at this price, the TRS-26 is already a real highlight.

Conclusion: The TRS-26 from Bushnell is a very affordable alternative for a secondary weapon (or third and fourth weapon) and offers a very good price-performance ratio and essentially all the features one needs today.
