FORTMEIER bipod adapter for Ruger Precision Rifle Gen.2

For powerful large-caliber repeating rifles in .338 Lapua Magnum or even the massive .50 BMG, a high-performance bipod is needed that can withstand the force. Fortmeier offers a high-end bipod system in various versions that is particularly robust, absolutely reliable, and remains easy to handle.

The Fortmeier adapter for RPR Gen.2 is specifically designed for this weapon platform and allows the mounting of Fortmeier bipods in the 12 o'clock position above the handguard. From Gen3 onwards, the RPR features M-LOK all around the handguard.

Notes on Picatinny mounting:
The mounts are currently offered as 6 o'clock or 12 o'clock - the two variants are IDENTICAL, only a laser engraving indicates the difference, and the screw for the bipod attachment is screwed in for the corresponding orientation. You just need to unscrew the screw from the spigot and screw it back in from the other side to switch between 6 and 12 o'clock; the screw always belongs at the bottom. The clamping jaws of the mount are spring-loaded. Strong recoil forces cannot harm the system. Using a quick-release lever, the bipod can also be quickly detached from the weapon or the rotational resistance adjusted to tilt the weapon sideways.
