The Trijicon ACOG 4x32 is the now nearly legendary "battlesight," which has proven its value and versatility with over 1 million units produced and 30 years of operational history. "ACOG" stands for Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight and is the designation for a prism sight that is now offered in 11 illumination and magnification variants with various reticle and mounting options. While the military models are illuminated with tritium and a light collector, there are models for the civilian market that are either illuminated only with a light collector (fiberglass) or with LED.

All ACOG are extremely robustly manufactured, and due to the fixed magnification and the design as a prism sight, they are particularly insensitive, waterproof and dustproof beyond military requirements, and withstand the drop tests of the US military.

The optics are, of course, nitrogen-filled, the lenses are multi-coated with excellent edge sharpness, and the adjustment turrets are secured with non-lossable protective caps. A shock resistance up to .50 BMG, even in fully automatic mode, is of course also given, as well as an unchanged point of impact under all conditions.

LED Model:

The LED model offers several advantages over the classic model – not only can the illumination intensity be adjusted by the user to changing conditions, but the LED models were also generally revised when they were equipped with the new technology and feature a more modern shape adapted for use with red dot sights. The LED offers 6 illumination levels and has a battery life of over 12,000 hours on level 4.

Reticle:

The Chevron reticle provides quick and precise acquisition through the target tip that guides the eye to the target. With additional hold points for up to 800m and nothing else, it is a tidy, simple reticle that is suitable for dynamic shooting as well as for precise shots.

This optic is also designed for shooting with both eyes – the "Bindon Aiming Concept" (BAC). With this technique, our brain places the reticle, which is actually only available to one eye, into the combined field of vision of both eyes, allowing for a quick, precise shot.
