The Meprolight Mepro Micro RDS is a compact and versatile red dot sight, which is particularly distinguished by its quick-release mount. Although the Micro RDS has a modified Docter footprint, the same mounting standard as, for example, the Meopta Meosight up to Gen III, it is delivered exclusively with two different QD mounts, depending on the variant. The sight itself features a 3 MOA (approximately 8.7cm/100m) red dot that can be manually adjusted - there are 10 brightness levels available, and to conserve battery life, the illumination automatically turns off via a motion sensor. The CR2032 battery can be replaced from the top, and removing the sight is not necessary.

The special feature is the quick mount. The sight is delivered in the offered variant with an adapter plate for the Glock M.O.S. interface, which has its own interface for the Micro RDS. The counterpart is mounted on the sight itself - thus, the optic can be quickly and, above all, repeatably mounted on the weapon with a QD lever. This allows, for example, the standard sights to continue being used, and disciplines can be shot that prohibit the use of a red dot sight.
