This kit from Trijicon is necessary to mount an RMR or SRO on various adapter plates, for which the standard screws of the RMR & SRO would otherwise be too long.

Trijicon was founded in 1981 in Michigan as a distribution company for "Occluded Eye Gunsights," a prototype of today's reflex sights. The name "Trijicon" was created in 1985 from the words "Tritium" and "Icon" and referred to the 3-point tritium sights for pistols produced by the company at that time. In 1987, the first ACOG was introduced – and thus began the company's triumph. Trijicon manufactures sights for handguns, prism sights, riflescopes, mounts, and thermal optics for the civilian, law enforcement, and military markets. Among the company's most well-known and successful products are the RMR micro-reflex sight, which is now considered the standard in the US market, and the ACOG, a groundbreaking battlesight.
