The massive 8 mm wide blade is very stable, set in handle scales made of stag horn and underlaid with fiber. This makes the knife suitable not only for catching but also as a stander in the field, where it can be used without hesitation. The 217 mm long blade features a ground phase in the tip area, and the guard element and pommel are made of solid nickel silver fittings, making the handling incomparably simple, despite its weight of 580 g.
