The original Hoppe's Boresnake with handle offers more grip and a more comfortable application than the well-known variant without a handle. The functionality and construction are the same; the sturdy cord features a brass weight with an engraved caliber, which is threaded through the barrel. The actual cleaning cord can be soaked with oil, and an integrated bronze brush removes dirt and deposits. The difference lies in the handle, where the Boresnake can be secured, preventing a tightly running cord from cutting into the shooter's fingers when cleaning the barrel. Of course, the cord can also be used as before without the handle.
