The Aimpoint Micro T-2 is the professional counterpart to the civilian Micro H-2. Both optics are the current successors to the extremely successful T-1 and H-1 models, which initiated the triumph of compact closed red dot sights. The mounting interface of this family is the de facto industry standard for comparable optics, and the design language has been and continues to be copied by numerous manufacturers. The differences of the T-2 compared to the H-2 lie in the availability of 4 night vision compatible brightness levels, waterproofing up to 25m instead of 5m, and the coating of the lenses as well as the harder surface treatment of the housing. Another difference can be found in the protective caps - to reduce reflections, the objective cap is opaque, while the ocular cap features a transparent window.

The small 2 MOA dot is suitable in combination with the high-quality lens coating for use with a magnifier up to 6x magnification and allows for precise shots. With a battery life of 50,000 hours at level 8 and 4 night vision as well as 8 daylight levels, the sight is a reliable and versatile companion.

What is the difference between the T-1 and the T-2?
Both sights use the same technology, meaning the battery life and brightness intensity are identical, and the resistance values (shock resistance, diving depth, etc.) remain unchanged. The main feature is found in the "hump" of the T-2, which protects the elevation adjustment from impacts. The T-2 also features an improved lens coating with slightly better contrast and comes with different cover caps. The differences carry over to the H-1 / H-2.
