For sport shooters, the use of a silencer is not legally possible. With the Blast Deflector from Brügger & Thomet, at least the same optics are possible for PCC weapons. This attachment is simply mounted on the 3-lug interface according to HK. However, there is no reduction in sound pressure, thus it is legally irrelevant and also freely available for sport shooters.

In addition to the silencer optics, this extended muzzle brake also has other advantages for the sport shooter: The gas exit is directed forward like with a silencer, just without damping. This reduces the recoil of the weapon and significantly reduces the sideward escaping residue - thus protecting neighboring shooters. When shooting in a prone position, less dust and particles are stirred up, which can cause irritations in the field of vision or even disrupt the weapon's function.

If your semi-automatic in 9mm Luger does not have a 3-lug interface but has a 1/2"x28 thread, you can use this adapter to install the Blast Deflector in 9mm anyway.

The version fits ONLY on weapons with the corresponding caliber!
9mm does NOT fit for 10mm and vice versa!
