The BTS-15 "Long Schlong" is a longer but still maneuverable M4 clone from the German-Hungarian manufacturer Bavarian Tactical Systems. The goal of the BTS-15 models is to bring an affordable yet reliable AR15 to the market - whether as a complete weapon for the shooter who does not want to spend too much money or as a base weapon for the tinkerer who wants to equip their AR15 with different components. The housing and various small parts are produced in-house, while other parts are sourced from established companies to create a complete weapon that offers a very good price-performance ratio. It is a MilSpec AR15 with fixed front sight, classic two-piece handguard with heat shield, and removable carrying handle/sight rail with fully adjustable aperture sight with folding diopter. The weapon is delivered with an authentic M4 collapsible stock and a Magpul Pmag.

As a replica of the famous M4/M4A1 (the difference is the fully automatic mode in the A1 - both variants were available with a removable carrying handle), the weapon is also available for sport shooters due to the 16" barrel. An affordable base weapon for the shooter who considers everything according to SOPMOD Block 1 as modern stuff.

The company Bavarian Tactical Systems was founded in 2018 in Munich and originally sold accessories for the AR platform. In 2019, the company expanded with a factory in Budapest, Hungary, to manufacture its own AR15 from sourced and self-produced parts. The brand offers affordable yet reliable weapons and accessories for sport shooters and hunters.
