The Hämmerli Force B1 is a new straight-pull repeater from Umarex. Built for sporting and hunting use, the weapon offers practical features - and as a standout characteristic, a quick-change barrel. The straight-pull bolt locks securely and allows for a fast and reliable cycling process; a push-button safety in the trigger guard can be easily converted for both right-handed and left-handed users, while the standard trigger also features a safety lever - however, the weapon can also accommodate Ruger 10/22 triggers, giving the shooter access to a large accessory market of tested and proven products. The magazines are also compatible with the Ruger 10/22 - in all 3 possible calibers, the weapon uses the snail magazines from the American manufacturer, which are also proven and known for their reliability. The magazines in caliber .22 lr use a clip-on adapter piece so that the magazine fits into the magazine well - the "larger" calibers .22 WMR & .17 HMR do not require this adapter piece due to the longer magazines.
Thanks to this multifunctional magazine well, caliber changes are a quick and uncomplicated matter. The barrel locking mechanism can be easily operated without tools and secures the barrel safely and accurately. Simply remove the magazine, open the bolt, and then the barrel locking mechanism can be pulled back, allowing the barrel to be removed from the front - the exchangeable barrel is then simply reinserted and aligned from the front, the locking mechanism is pushed forward, and the new caliber is ready for use with the corresponding magazine. This allows for easy switching between different barrel lengths or calibers.
The weapon is rounded off with M-LOK interfaces in the fore-end, an adjustable length stock cap - easily adjustable with a push button - and a removable cheek rest as well as a QD attachment in the rear stock. Each stock variant has these features. All barrels feature a 1/2"x28 muzzle thread with a thread protector cap.

Founded in 1863 by Johann Ulrich Hämmerli in Switzerland, the brand has been under the ownership of Umarex since 2006 after many changes, mergers, and re-establishments. The former Swiss production is now carried out by Carl Walther in Ulm. The brand has always been known for its .22 caliber firearms, a tradition that Umarex continues and markets under the name of the "sharp" weapons of the otherwise freely available portfolio.
