The smooth cleaning rod is made from particularly strong spring steel and is axially mounted for special smoothness and high precision. The extreme tensile strength of 1800 N/mm² permanently prevents the bending of the rod.

A coating with polyvinyl chloride also protects the barrel during cleaning.
