The Fortmeier bipod is designed for heavy rifles up to caliber .50 BMG, but this set has been specially assembled and coated for the G28Z and MR308 A3-28 in RAL8000. The G28Z is a heavy piece and is excellently complemented and supported by this Fortmeier combo in the Bundeswehr color RAL8000. The height of the H184 has been chosen to fit the rifle and provides enough leeway even when using the Ergo-Grip, a monopod, or shooting bags without being too high. The Picatinny adapter fits precisely under the offset part of the handguard and adds hardly any bulk when the bipod is attached, allowing the weapon to be transported in the original case or the optional Peli-Case. All parts (except screws, springs, and the clamping levers made of plastic) are coated with Cerakote from the H series.

Please note:
This bipod SET is delivered including the 6 o'clock Picatinny adapter, coated with a robust CERAKOTE finish RAL8000, e.g., color-matched to the HK MR308 or the HK G28 Z. Due to the coating, there may be slight wear in some places where parts rub against each other.

For those wondering why the Fortmeier bipod system is so good, here are a few facts: the clamping jaws of the mount are spring-loaded. Strong recoil forces cannot harm the system. With the quick-release lever, the bipod can also be quickly detached from the weapon or the rotational resistance adjusted to tilt the weapon sideways. With a simple push of a button, the legs can be adjusted in height, and once locked, the foot stands rock solid on the integrated skis. The stand legs can be locked in 3 positions forward/backward or downward. Last but not least, the bipod simply looks fantastic, brutal, and self-assured.
