The Timney Trigger for the Ruger 10/22 not only offers the shooter a significantly improved trigger characteristic and a lower trigger weight, but also an extended magazine release lever. This fits snugly against the trigger guard and greatly facilitates operation - the original short magazine release is sometimes difficult to reach, especially in bulky match stocks or with long magazines.

The trigger is a dry-standing single-stage trigger with a trigger weight of approximately 2.75 pounds / 1,250g. As a true drop-in solution, no adjustments are necessary for nearly all Ruger 10/22 models, and it also fits weapons based on this system, e.g. from Magnum Research, Volquartsen, and Brownells.

Dry firing the trigger is, as is common with rimfire firearms, not recommended! Please use appropriate dummy rounds for relaxation or trigger training!
