The scopes of the Element Optics Helix series form the foundation of the lineup. Reticles and adjustment turrets vary depending on the model and intended use, but one thing that the entire 30mm product line shares with its 34mm sister scopes from the Titan series is high-quality HD lenses with modern coatings, well-thought-out reticles, and an adjustment mechanism that features characteristics typically found in much more expensive scopes. The adjustment mechanism, like that of the Titan, is made from extremely stable and durable stainless steel – perfect for the ambitious precision shooter. Like the significantly more expensive Theos, this scope features a tool-free zero-stop and tool-free zeroing.
The Helix HDLR 2-16x50 SFP is the scope for hunting at long distances or for the sport shooter who prefers a clean reticle over a Christmas tree. With its APR-1C reticle, the covered, flat side adjustment turret, the quick adjustment turret for elevation, and the parallax adjustment from 10m to infinity, this scope is suitable as an all-rounder for sitting or night hunting – weighing only 770g and with flip caps, the compact scope hardly adds weight and is quickly ready for use in wind and weather.
The APR-1C MRAD reticle is designed as a true all-rounder in the second focal plane, SFP. The reticle is fully illuminated, including its hold marks – only the horizontally and vertically tapered bars leading to the reticle are unilluminated and serve to guide the eye to the target. With its fine aiming point and hold marks, the clean reticle obscures as little of the target as possible. Since the entire reticle is designed in MRAD, it is incredibly easy to correct the point of impact or shoot using the hold marks without adjusting the reticle.
