The VORTEX Viper® HD 3000 is a very affordable laser rangefinder for stand hunting or the mountains. Especially for distance shots where you can't take a "test shot," a rangefinder is indispensable. The Viper HD 3000 is a laser-based rangefinder with 4 different target modes. Thanks to the angle-compensated HCD technology (Horizontal Component Distance), the device also provides critical distance data for precise shot execution. The display is kept simple and clear for quick range measurement.

Modes:

The angle-compensated laser rangefinder features four target modes (Normal, First, Last, ELR) and two distance modes (LOS, HCD).

HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) - mode for angle-compensated measurement
SCAN - displays continuous distance measurements while you sweep across a landscape
ELR - mode for extreme distances (longer reaction time, therefore a tripod is recommended)
