The Hornady Lock’n Load Ammo Plant is a set consisting of a progressive reloading press with a variety of accessories that allows you to operate a nearly fully automatic loading machine – you only need to operate the lever yourself. The multi-station press can be operated completely manually, but the following accessories are already included in the set to make this unnecessary:

When everything is installed, with each pull of the lever, every further operation is performed automatically in steps:

feeding & inserting the case
calibrating and ejecting an old primer (if present)
inserting the primer
filling powder (only if there is a case under the powder dispenser!)
seating and crimping the bullet
ejecting the finished cartridge

At each step, any case can be easily removed and reinserted for maximum control and safety.

Only the appropriate dies are needed, and you can get started – depending on caliber and skill, about 500 cartridges can be loaded per hour. The "Ammo Plant" can be further expanded with various accessories.

What is "Lock-N-Load"?
This refers to Hornady's quick-change system, where standard dies are inserted into a sleeve that can be easily removed from the Lock-N-Load presses with a quick-change closure. This ensures quick and repeatable caliber and die changes. The dies remain set in the sleeve, and no further adjustments are necessary after installation and removal.
