The Vortex Viper HD 5-25x50 FFP with VMR-4 reticle is part of the hunting Viper HD series. Optimized as affordable optics for hunting use, all Viper HD models feature a new HD lens system with the best possible color fidelity and light transmission to ensure safe identification and shooting in all hunting situations. Equipped with a 30mm main tube, all scopes in this series can utilize a variety of mounts. The 5-25x50 with VMR-4 reticle features extensive illumination of the crosshair, unlike the dot of other reticles, and a reticle in the first focal plane.

For use in the field, the lenses have an extra robust ArmorTek coating, the scopes are filled with argon, and the adjustment turrets are protected with caps.

The VMR-4 MRAD reticle is tailored for long-range hunting - the numerous holdover marks provide extensive guidelines for estimating distances and leading moving targets. The "Christmas tree" and the arrangement in the first focal plane allow for precise hunting shots even at great distances. This reticle is illuminated.
