The Holosun SCS-MOS-GR is a modern and compact closed micro sight designed for use on the Glock MOS interface. With its green reticle, it offers the shooter a different contrast compared to the usual red dot sights.

With the ability to mount the reflex sight directly on the Glock MOS and the automatic brightness adjustment, it is a sight for quick deployment. The SCS-MOS-GR is low enough to be used in conjunction with the standard sights of Glock. The sturdy housing is made not of aluminum, but of titanium!

As is typical for Holosun, the sight features a solar cell that powers the emitter—even when the battery is dead. The "Shake Awake" function is also included, meaning the dot automatically turns on and off through motion sensors.

The reticle can be adjusted, as is typical for many Holosun models, and offers the shooter a simple 2 MOA dot (approximately 1.45cm/25m), a 32 MOA target circle (approximately 23.2cm/100m), as well as a combination of both reticles—in green. The brightness is automatically adjusted in 12 levels, with two light sensors ensuring optimal adaptation to ambient brightness. There is also a manual "boost" feature that activates a significant increase in brightness for 30 minutes—especially suitable for shooting from a dark environment into bright light. A standard battery is not used; instead, a lithium-ion battery is employed, which is continuously recharged by the integrated solar cell.

This sight only fits the Glock MOS interface. The "Slimline models" have the Shield footprint—this sight does not fit.

Holosun was founded in 2013 in California but is a subsidiary of a Chinese conglomerate. Since the parent company specializes in electro-optical components, the manufacturer offers high-quality optics at a good price-performance ratio. A "trademark" of the company is the solar cell, which is found on almost all optics and allows the use of the sight even with a dead battery. The manufacturer was also one of the first to implement motion-activated activation in affordable optics. After modest beginnings, the company has firmly established itself in the civilian market within a few years and offers an extremely extensive range of red dot sights. Thermal optics, including special models for handguns, are now part of the portfolio, and the first authorities and militaries are relying on optics from Holosun.
