The Vortex Spitfire HD Gen II 5x is significantly slimmer, lighter, and more powerful than its predecessor. This prism sight features a fixed 5x magnification with an optical HD system that allows for glare-free, sharp, and high-contrast viewing. With various mounting heights of 27 and 40 mm, the sight can be almost perfectly attached to any shooter on a Picatinny rail. The 12-level brightness adjustment offers, for the first time, 2 night vision modes, making it compatible with a night vision attachment for hunting use. The specially designed AR-BDC4 reticle is perfect for AR15 rifles in caliber .223 / 5.56 with hold points up to 650 yards. The glass-etched reticle with a large horseshoe makes the Spitfire a true highlight for quick target acquisition and also for dynamic sports disciplines. Even without illumination, the fine reticle provides perfect visibility.

Thanks to the open adjustment turrets, the sight can be quickly adjusted without any jamming.

The Spitfire with 5x magnification also offers a small highlight: a mounting place for a Micro Red Dot on top. This allows you to switch between 5x and 1x magnification with a slight change in your head position.
