The Marlin 1894 Guide Gun is a lever-action rifle from current production. The simple and elegant rifle features a matte-satin finish and a fore-end and buttstock made of black-stained laminated wood with checkering. This weapon offers a modern look combined with classic design and has the same contemporary features as the other current Marlins: the semi-buckhorn rear sight is foldable so it does not interfere with any mounted scope, the receiver is prepared for scope mounting, and a hammer extension is included so the hammer can be cocked properly and safely even with a mounted scope. The butt plate is made of rubber for a non-slip shoulder. The new production of Marlin under the auspices of Ruger guarantees high and consistent quality.
