The Colt AR15 Carry Handle Scope is a replica of the scope used in the 1970s for the M16, which was also used to a limited extent during the Vietnam War. Brownells has teamed up with the original manufacturer to create an outwardly authentic replica - right down to the yellow inspection stickers. Technically, however, the scope is up to date, with modern internals, lenses, and coatings. The scope with a fixed 4x magnification is mounted on the carry handle of the AR15, the corresponding mount is integrated into the scope, and it features a quick-adjust turret with BDC for 500 yards, calibrated for 55gr and 62gr loads.

The authentic reticle is a fine duplex crosshair. The entire scope is, of course, waterproof and made in Japan. The perfect addition to your retro build!

Walker collaborated with Colt and the US Army to develop a stronger revolver known as the Walker. In 1867, COLT introduced its first Gatling Gun. In 1873, the Single Action Army Revolver was introduced, securing Colt a contract with the US government. In 1911, the "Model 1911" was officially adopted by the US government as a service weapon. In 1963, Colt received its first government contract for the M16 rifle.
