The Winchester Model 1894 Sporter is a modern production of this traditional lever-action rifle. In caliber .30-30 Winchester, the firearm is versatile and can be used for both hunting and sport shooting. Particularly suitable for hunting roe deer, the caliber with the appropriate load is even suitable for large game.

The Model 1894 is a piece of history, as it was the first lever-action rifle manufactured for smokeless powder instead of black powder. With its high-quality bluing and straight walnut stock, this Japanese Miroku production offers a classic firearm with modern manufacturing processes and materials; a concession to modern sensibilities is the integrated safety in the stock neck, which blends into the sleek appearance of the weapon. The barrel starts with an octagonal profile and transitions into a round profile, keeping the long firearm balanced and maneuverable. The sights consist of a buckhorn rear sight and a brass front sight.

The history of Winchester dates back to 1848. Clothing manufacturer Oliver Winchester was one of the main shareholders of Smith & Wesson, or at that time involved with Volcanic Repeating Arms Company. After moderate success with the volcanic rifle, S&W withdrew, and with Benjamin Henry, new momentum came to the newly founded New Haven Arms Company. The so-called Henry rifle brought the breakthrough. After separating from Henry, the success story of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company began. Winchester had fundamentally redesigned and improved the Henry rifle "Model 1866" to bring the first Winchester rifle to market. Further innovative developments continually secured growing market shares. Winchester became world-famous, especially as a manufacturer of repeating firearms. The Winchester brand is now owned by Olin Corporation, and the name is used under license by two subsidiaries of the Herstal Group.

Sale only to holders of a firearms acquisition license.
