WEATHERBY Vanguard FENRIS .223 Remington (20" barrel) Short Action

The Weatherby Vanguard FENRIS combines an excellent Japanese-Norwegian firearm stock system at a top-notch price-performance ratio. The Heavy Barrel offers outstanding shooting behavior, with the slightly increased weight compared to slimmer barrels providing stable aiming and a steady firearm during shots. The Weatherby Vanguard models have been manufactured by Howa in Japan since 1970 and are based on the well-known Howa 1500, with final assembly taking place at Weatherby in Wyoming. All Vanguards feature a 3-position safety and an adjustable two-stage trigger.

The barrel thread is covered with a thread protector and allows for the mounting of suppressors or compensators. The GRS Fenris is a cost-effective polymer stock from the renowned Norwegian manufacturer. As the simplest model in the lineup, it still features two side QD mounts, a sling swivel stud on the fore-end for bipod attachment, and quickly adjustable cheek rest and butt pad. The stock uses the standard flip-top magazine from Howa but can also accommodate the interchangeable magazine kits we offer.
