CCI Quiet-22 SHP 40grs 50pcs .22lr

CCI Quiet-22 SHP 40grs 50St
The CCI Quiet-22 SHP (Segmented Hollow Point) is a unique subsonic cartridge for discreet pest control. It combines the extreme quietness of the Quiet series (only 710 fps!) with a highly effective, segmented hollow point bullet. Upon impact, the bullet breaks into three separate fragments, which, despite the low speed, provides an enormous instantaneous effect on small game. If you want to buy quiet hunting ammunition that safely binds the game and reduces the noise level to air rifle level, this cartridge is unmatched.

Application & Target Group (EN)
Special ammunition for hunters and cemetery hunters.

Discreet predatory game hunting: Ideal for taking rabbits or young foxes at short distances (< 30m) in settled areas or near urban hunting grounds. The shot is so quiet that residents are hardly disturbed.
Safety through fragmentation: Since the bullet fragments in the target body, the risk of pass-throughs with high residual energy is minimized, reducing the risk to the surrounding area.
Bolt-action rifles: Important: This ammunition does not cycle in semi-automatics due to the low pressure! It is optimized for bolt-action rifles.

Recommendations for Distance
Ballistically limited by extremely low V0:

Sport shooting (precision): Optimized for 15 to 35 meters. At this distance, it is very precise.
Zeroing: 25 meters point of aim. The bullet drop at 50 meters is already significant (about 10–15 cm lower than standard subsonic).
Maximum effective range: Responsible for hunting up to a maximum of 40–50 meters.

Features & Performance
The SHP technology ensures that the bullet splits into three approximately equal parts upon entering a soft medium. This creates three wound channels instead of one and almost completely transfers the low energy of 61 Joules into the target.

Comparison & Alternatives
Compared to the standard Quiet-22 LRN (round nose), the SHP offers significantly higher lethality. Compared to the CCI Suppressor (45grs HP), it is significantly quieter, but has less range and does not cycle automatically.

FAQ

Is it silent?
Almost. It is quieter than a clap of hands at about 68 dB.

Conclusion / Purchase Argument
The CCI Quiet-22 Segmented HP is the "Silent Assassin" among rimfire cartridges. Maximum effect with minimal noise – perfect for sensitive hunting situations.
