The B&T Flip-Down Mount QD raises the optical axis of a magnifier with a 30mm main tube to 59mm. This height is based on current shooting concepts that emphasize a straight, relaxed head position for more dynamic shooting disciplines, and it also provides "tall guys" with a more comfortable shooting stance. For the hunter, the elevated optical axis is advantageous when using night vision goggles.

The flip mount utilizes the high sight line by folding the magnification module downwards instead of to the side. This allows the use of the sight without magnification while the magnifier is not at risk of getting caught or bumped. The quick-release lever allows for easy mounting and dismounting for different disciplines or applications. Re-zeroing is not necessary.

This flip-down mount is designed for the magnifiers, also known as "boosters," from Aimpoint, and we recommend using it with the 3X-P. However, any other magnifier with a 30mm main tube can be mounted.
