The Walther PDP Polymer Match Full Size is a modern pistol made in Germany. Unlike the standard variant, it comes factory-equipped with a magazine funnel (Jet Funnel) and the competition-optimized Dynamic Performance Trigger. The included magazines feature extended magazine bases. Manufactured by the traditional company Carl Walther, the PDP platform is characterized by very good ergonomics and emphasizes good "pointability," meaning quick target acquisition through an intuitive grip. Robustly built and equipped with several automatic safeties, the pistol offers secure handling under all conditions, thanks in part to its aggressive texturing on the slide and grip, while the specially shaped grip end provides additional support with a small "lip" for the hand.

Each version of the PDP is equipped with an "optic ready" interface, allowing a variety of optics to be mounted using appropriate adapter plates. The interface is positioned deep in the slide, enabling co-witnessing with many red dot sights using the standard sights. The rear sight and front sight follow the Glock standard, leaving no obstacles for personal optimization.

All PDP models feature a stepped chamber, which ensures better guidance of the cartridge and more efficient combustion behavior—resulting in a cleaner and more precise shooting weapon. The slide catch and disassembly lever are ambidextrous, while the magazine release button is standardly mounted on the left side but can also be switched.

The Walther PDP Polymer Match Fullsize features a polymer grip with interchangeable backstraps (3 included) and the "Dynamic Performance Trigger," which surpasses the standard service trigger in several aspects. With a clearly defined pressure point at 1,250g, the trigger breaks cleanly at 2,500g like the standard trigger—but the take-up is even less, the overtravel is shorter, and the reset is further minimized. It is effectively a completely revised trigger with a straight trigger shoe optimized for sport shooting. The standard magazine capacity is 18 rounds, and the main difference from the "Compact" model is found in the grip length: it is approximately 8mm longer.
