History and technical features

Introduced in the 1980s by the traditional Marlin Firearms Company, the model series was specifically developed for campers, hunters, and home users looking for a handy rifle alternative in the same caliber as their handgun. The weapon operates as a classic blowback with a robust spring-mass bolt. The special feature of this model is the factory magazine compatibility: The Marlin Model 9 uses the widely available magazines of the Smith and Wesson 59 series, which are extremely inexpensive, reliable, and available everywhere in the accessory market.

Brand new recoil buffer: In almost all Marlin Camp Carbines from this era, the original plastic buffer inside the housing has crumbled due to age. In this weapon, the buffer has been freshly replaced with a modern, durable quality spare part. The system is perfectly protected, cycles smoothly, and is absolutely safe.
New magazine included: The weapon comes with a brand new 10-round magazine. Unpack, load ammunition, and off to the shooting range!
Mirror-bright barrel: The interior of the barrel is absolutely mirror-bright with a sharply defined profile. The lands and grooves of the esteemed Marlin barrel are flawlessly preserved – the best basis for excellent precision at 25, 50, and even 100 meters.

Condition and details

The weapon is in condition 2+ (Good to Very Good) and is in an exceptionally well-maintained overall condition. The classic wooden stock and the original bluing show only minimal, absolutely normal signs of use. There are no cracks in the wood and no deep dents. The weapon has a valid German civilian proof from 1988 from the proof house in Munich. It is approved for many dynamic and static disciplines of various shooting sports associations and offers an unbeatable fun factor at extremely low ammunition costs.
