RÖHM RG 3 blank firing pistol cal. 6 mm Flobert - blued including launch cup The Röhm RG3 is a small blank firing pistol in caliber 6mm Flobert. The weapon is very well suited for firing pyrotechnic effect ammunition. Additionally, it can be used as a starting pistol for sporting competitions, as the cost of the ammunition is very low. The safety lever has three functions. In addition to "Safe" and "Ready to Fire," there is also the unloading function. The stick magazine can be changed even with the additional barrel screwed on. Additional magazine: here in the shop under item no. 708.101 - launch cup for cal. 15 mm pyro ammunition: under item no. 708.100   Our assessment It is well known that the company Umarex has now taken over the complete licensed production of all Röhm weapons. It has now been shown that there has been no change in terms of processing, and all blank firing weapons still meet the high Röhm standards. The RG-3 is a very compact gas pistol, which impresses with its absolutely well-thought-out functionality. But the exterior also does not need to hide. Despite the low price, the signal pistol looks very good. The bluing appears even, and the plastic grip panels in wood look give the weapon a certain exclusivity. The RG 3 blank firing pistol is loaded using a stick magazine. This holds 6 cartridges of caliber 6mm Flobert. It is inserted from the front parallel to the barrel and moves one position further with each shot until it completely comes out at the rear end. If it is empty, it must be pulled again to release the magazine. However, the magazine can also be loaded and removed by pushing the safety lever into the unloading position. Now the magazine moves one position further with each pull of the trigger without firing a shot. The shooting test was unremarkable. We loaded the magazine five times and then fired the six cartridges each time. There were no malfunctions, which did not particularly surprise us. The Röhm RG 3 is an excellent gas/signal pistol thanks to its cost-effective caliber. It is even strong enough to create a firework display in the sky on New Year's Eve.
