The Flip-Up Backup Sight SET MBUS Generation 3 from Magpul offers absolutely reliable quality and repeatable accuracy. The set consists of a rear aperture sight and a front sight.

New in GEN3 is not only the significantly more compact, sleeker design and improved spring housing but also the tool-free height adjustment of the front sight attachment and the reinforced sight post with double width, similar to how the MBUS Pro is processed.

If the primary optic fails, it is advisable to have a backup sight already mounted on the weapon. The MBUS Gen3 is made of torsion-resistant, impact-resistant polymer and can be mounted absolutely flat on the Picatinny rail when not in use. The design is well thought out and without corners and edges, so you won't get caught anywhere. There’s not much more to say about the further processing: Magpul, after all - durable even in extreme situations and simply reliable. When folded, the sight is only 12 mm high and 35 mm wide, lying extremely flat and not obstructing the primary optic.

With a simple finger press, you unlock the spring-loaded sight, and just as easily, you retract the sight again. It doesn’t get any easier than that, yet it’s brilliantly built. The sight SET can be adjusted tool-free in height at the front and in width at the back, so it is also advisable to zero the backup sight, which allows for very good, repeatable accuracy.

Simply perfect for AR rifles or bolt-action rifles with a long Picatinny rail.

(Note: The sight set must be mounted on a profiled forend at the same level as the receiver rail to be able to aim correctly. Therefore, the set is not compatible with rail gas blocks or the MOE handguard.)
